National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day- "Always"

by Ellen DuBois on 10/15/17

"National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is observed annually in the United States on October 15. It is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death which includes, but is not limited to, miscarriage, still birth, SIDS or the death of a newborn."

I remember you, my baby
on this special day
My heart aches for all the others
who also feel this way
No matter how long it's been
since you were here with me
I feel your love like a blanket
wrapped around the heart of me
I will miss you for forever
I will always think of you
One foot in front of the other
Is what I have to do
I know you don't want me crying
because you live on in a better place
Although I do believe it...
what I'd give to see your face
I love you my sweet child
I will for the rest of my days
Until we meet in Heaven
I send my love to you

Welcome to I am deeply sorry for your loss. is a support site for women and their families who have suffered the pain, loss and grief after miscarriage. I respond personally to each email and post and have been doing so since 2006. It's an outreach to me, as I try to connect and support those who have walked the often lonely road after miscarriage. Why? I don't want anyone to feel as alone as I did over twenty years ago after my own miscarriage. - Love & comfort to you, Ellen
